About Sharm
The simplicity of sun, sea and sand. The luxury of Egyptian five-star hotels, water-sports, shopping and entertainment. This is Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt, one of the most accessible and developed tourist resort communities on the Sinai peninsula. All around are Bedouins, colourful tents, mountains and sea. There are casinos, discos and nightclubs, golf courses and health facilities. In fact, with diving and snorkelling, windsurfing and other water sports, horses and camel riding, desert safaris, and great nearby antiquities attractions, it is almost impossible for a visitor to ever suffer from boredom.
Four miles south, the southern section of the town stands on a cliff overlooking the port and is a great view. Na'ama Beach is one of the centres of the tourist activities (3 minutes from apartment). Located just north of Sharm, this area is developing into a resort town of its own. Shark's Bay is also nearby and again is a growing resort community with more and more to offer, along with several diving centres.
The small harbour known as Sharm el Moiya is located next to the civil harbour, has accommodation for boats, and includes a Yacht Club with rooms. For those who live to shop, the Sharm el Sheikh mall provides shops with both foreign and local products, including jewellery, leather goods, clothing, pottery and books.
It has been said that this is a must visit for all diving enthusiasts. There are many diving sites along the 10 mile beach between Sharm el Sheikh and Ras Nusrani.
Diving
Without a doubt, Sharm el Sheikh is one of the best diving destinations not only in Egypt - but in the world. It has always been a beautiful place, but never before has it been as famous and comfortable as it is today. Twenty years ago a diving trip was real adventure. Divers had to accept a long trek through the desert and setting up camp at the beach before they could go for a dive.
The centre of activities where most of the hotels and diving centres are located is Na'ama Bay (3 minutes from apartment). We have also arranged a discount for guests at the apartment with SSX Diving in Shark's Bay. Discount cards can be found in your welcome pack on arrival.
Excursions
We have arrange with a local XL holidays rep who, if needed. Can be contacted on arrival and he can come and see you to arrange trips such as, Bedouin nights trips (camel rides), quad biking in the Sinai Mountains, Trips to Luxor or Cairo, Boat trips, All information regarding all these can be found in the apartment on arrival.
Transfers
We have arranged transfers to and from the airport to your apartment. Once the holiday and flights are booked, we will pass the details, flight numbers etc., on to our agent who will collect you from the Airport. He will then drop you off at the apartment (10 min drive). He will then give you a room key. At this point you will need to give him £10 English pounds (this is compulsory). A day or so before you depart he will deliver a note to your apartment with the collection time for your return to the airport. Please return the key and again £10 will need to be given to him. Please do not try to haggle with this driver as the fees have been pre-agreed and are obligatory.
About the Complex
The Roman Theatre residential complex is located only 3 kilometres from the centre of Na'ama Bay and only 15 minutes from Sharm International Airport. This brand new complex is centrally located for easy access to the whole of Sharm el Sheikh and is situated to the left and behind the Roman Amphitheatre. The complex also boasts 6 swimming pools.
About the Apartment
The apartment is a 55m², 1 bedroom apartment and comprises:
- Living Room with a Double sofa bed
- Bedroom with double bed and travel cot in wardrobe
- Fitted kitchen
- Bathroom with shower
- Balcony in the living room
- A roof terrace
- Satellite TV and a DVD player
- Fully air conditioned
Clean towels and sheets will be provided prior to your arrival and if you are staying more than 1 week, a cleaner will come in half-way through your stay to provide new towels and sheets. From the roof terrace you can see the Sinai Mountains from one side and the Red Sea from the other.
